Global climate change is one of the main causes of today's humanitarian crisis that threatens the fundamental security and livelihoods of human kind (coastline floods, droughts and wildfires etc. causing human lives and environmental destruction) especially among the poor and isolated rural communities in most underdeveloped countries and regions across the globe.
Economic globalization, on the other hand, ties the world together as never before. Nonetheless, it also poses serious new threats to human lives, society and the environment through unfair trade practices and bad government policies.
At Earth Buddy, we believe protecting global environment and eradicating poverty are two related issues, and they can be dealt with effectively through innovative business partnerships and global social
efforts. We have initiated a global effort namely "The Earth Buddy Foundation" which aims to:
- Combat global climate change
- Fight rural poverty, and
- Promote fair trade.
Besides, we are supportive of various social and education programs to help public and future generations to protect and understand our global environment.
